It looks like 2013 and has certainly started with a flurry, as we have had two pretty desperate cases brought to us (more on one of them at a later date.)
This is Maisy who was found tied up near a local beach. She smelt heavily of urine and you can see the stains on her white fur. The horrendous fact though is her weight, Springer Spaniel in size, Maisy weighed on 6.6kg on arrival.
Maisy was an instant hit, and Sheena just couldn't resist and very kindly offered to take her home, give her a few baths and get some much needed weight on her. I'm delighted to say that last weekend she had already put on a kilo, and weighed 7.6kg.
The plan now is for Sheena to nurture her in the same way she did Hope, and once we have her upto her correct size try and find her a Forever Foster home.
