Molly And Dolly.....

Another SHAK Lurcher that we're proud of having made a big step out on her own is Molly. I think the whole world knows how much I personally love both Molly and Dolly, and it was a very tough decision to come to regarding separating them. However there was a chance of a fantastic home for Molly, and I had to put her first.....

"Dear Steve,
Molly is doing so well - lying across my knee as I do this! She is enjoying her walks along the coast, often off lead now and staying close to us. She knows the way home and does want to retrace our steps exactly, just to be certain! She and Murphy are getting on fine. He is no longer scared of her, great big baby. She does almost get her head into his mouth if he has any food, but fortunately he isn't at all food aggressive, never having had to worry about food like Molly
has.

She has been to see our vet today and he thought her a well little dog. She just got a biscuit and a cuddle today, to get used to the vet's, and will go back next week for her first vaccination. We love Molly dearly and are so pleased you let us have her. We do hope Dolly hasn't been upset and that Hobo is looking after her. We were so pleased that TJ seems to have his forever home now.

We are very grateful to all at SHAK for the super care you have given Molly and all the others, but especially to Neve who we know loved and was so very good to her when she so needed it. Molly sends lots of kisses. We will at some point get help to send some photos!

       With our very Best Wishes,
                              Colin,Dorothy,Molly and Murphy"

Of course the other side of this is that Dolly is having to adapt to life on her own. She is doing very well, and meeting and making a lot of new friends. However I would love to see her find a home that she too can call her own. She is well socialised with other dogs, lived with Molly for as long as we know, although due to her background we will not place near other furries.
