Following on from the video of Otto recently, here he is again entertaining himself this afternoon. All the dogs interact with these Boomer balls in different ways, but Otto deliberately puts his in the bottle box and then tries to get it out. Great fun.
It has been busy at The Rescue Place recently, as Honey and Sunny have began to settle. They have been joined by another new arrival at the end of last week, as we help out an old boy with nowhere to go. Jack has been in kennels since his owner went into hospital weeks ago. Last week we got the sad news his owner had passed away, and nobody wanted Jack. Nobody but us. Jack is an old crossbreed (some lurcher in there somewhere) and photos will follow soon, once it stops raining. Anyone looking to give this old boy a "Forever Foster" home, please get in touch (shak@shak.org.uk).
It has also been a busy time for another of the SHAK boys, as tonight he has gone on a sleep over as the next stage of him moving into his "Forever Foster" home. A phone call has confirmed that he has settled ok, more to follow as it develops.
