It was a bit of a mixed day, as snow made it difficult for people to get to us. Thanks to Andrew and Karen for turning in with me, and thanks to Gregg and farm residents Ruth and the boys for doing yesterday.
Here's a few pictures of two beautiful girls enjoying the snow today. Both Summer and Nina have serious issues after being subjected to intense cruelty in life before SHAK, yet it was wonderful to see especially Nina going balistic charging around in the snow. Made the two hour journey there so worthwhile.
A real dampener was the return to SHAK of Denbar and Tara, after nearly 2 years in a home. A change in circumstances of the owner meant he could no longer keep the first ever SHAK couple, and as usual, we insisted on taking them back. Tara was one of the first really abused dogs we took, its sad to see her back in our care.
