We are searching for
the people in a million that could offer a forever loving home to these two
special dogs.
Denbar is a 9 year old Rottie cross and is a real gentleman
- sweet-natured, calm and friendly with everyone he meets but still has a great
sense of fun and has plenty of bounce when there`s a walk or game on offer.
Tara is a very petite 5 year old Rottie - a very frightened
girl who has come to depend on Denbar for security. She has been very badly treated at some point
in her life and is fearful of new people and of being handled. There is nothing
unpleasant about her, she just tries to hide herself away and hope she`ll be
left alone. However, in situations where she does feel more confident, she`s a
happy little poppet and you can see how much potential she has in the right
hands.
These two dogs have been together for a long time (most of
Tara`s life) and, much as we want to find them homes, we feel it would be hard
on them to split them up. We are looking for an experienced home with people
who will have the patience to allow Tara to regain her confidence at her own
speed - anyone who has done this before knows it takes months or years, not
just weeks.
We are really hoping to find that special person or people
that would give a little dog her life back and give a mature gentleman a kind
and loving retirement home.
