Some really sad news today as SHAK had to say goodbye to one of its oldest ever and newest residents. Bobby has been in foster a month or so with my Mam Joan and Mike. In those weeks his character has grown and grown and I'd like to think that in that short time they saw the real Bobby.
Abandoned aged 15, his microchip details out of date and the owner disappeared off the face of the earth, maybe they knew this day was coming, he arrived and left for a new home very quickly. He was such a character, and one that I am proud to say we were able to help when he needed the most.
His bad health was there for all to see, today Father Time caught up with him as he deteriorated dramatically and his new family lost their new son. Run free Little Bobby, we gave you a chance, but in such a short time you gave so much more in the form of memories.....
