Another Weekend Packed With Fundraising.....
After everything that has happened this week, this Bank Holiday weekend gives us a chance to concentrate on raising some funds and enjoy ourselves whilst doing so.
Thank you to Lesley and Paul at the Border Terrier, and everyone who came to support the third SHAK Race Night. The night itself was in memory of Gypsey, and everyone involved in the night did her proud. Thank you to Adie for donating a framed and signed Steven Taylor shirt that was auctioned on the night, what a wonderful surprise it was to walk into the pub and find out. Overall we made a whopping £398, and made some new friends as well as seeing some old friends. THANK YOU EVERYONE.
Next up in the fundraising weekend is Derek's for coffee on Sunday. As it is a Bank Holiday, Coffee is being served Sunday and Monday 7.30am - 5pm down on the sea front at Seaton Sluice (Just look for the Black Flags) Lets hope the weather is nice, as there really is nothing better than sitting with a cuppa in the sun, dog at your feet, and listening to Derek's tales.....
Bank Holiday Monday sees Carol and Nicola take their magnificent Tombola on the road again to Bill Quay Farm for their Fair. The Fair is open from 10am to 4pm, so why not take the family for a day out, meet the girls, and help SHAK save even more "Dogs On Death Row."
A quick thank you to Jaime, Julie and Joanne for their huge donation of dog toys. Miko especially says thank you.
